Kristen Kasmai, Esq. — Founding Partner

Kasmai Law was founded by Kristen Kasmai, a Miami-based attorney with a strong background in franchise law, regulatory compliance, and strategic growth. Kristen graduated from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City after completing her undergraduate education at the University of Miami. She is admitted to practice law in the state of Florida. As the founding partner of Kasmai Law, she represents corporate clients across the country in the development and structuring of franchise systems, with a particular emphasis on the preparation of Franchise Disclosure Documents (FDDs) and compliance with the Federal Trade Commission's Franchise Rule and state-specific regulations.

Kristen's practice is rooted in a deep understanding of both the legal and operational sides of franchising. She works closely with business owners, executives, and emerging brands to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical, tailored solutions that align with each client's business model and long-term goals.

Before launching her legal career, Kristen served as the Director of Operations for a multi-unit ghost kitchen company, building it from the ground up and contributing to its expansion to over 60 locations. In that role, she gained firsthand experience with franchise development, brand expansion, and high-level business negotiations. This unique background allows her to provide legal counsel that is grounded in real-world business insight — an advantage her clients rely on when navigating the complexities of franchising.

Fluent in English and conversational in both Spanish and Farsi, Kristen brings a global perspective to her practice and is committed to delivering business-minded, and client-tailored legal services.
